Postavička Stuarta Littlea, myšáka s dokonalým šatníkem a gentlemanským vystupováním, má svou knižní předlohu v dětské knize E. B. Whitea. K hrdinům známým již z prvního filmu, kterými jsou především animovaný bílý myšák Stuart (v originále mluví známá hollywoodská hvězda Michael J. Fox, který mu propůjčí hlas i v druhém díle, česky nadaboval Martin Dejdar) a dále rodina Littleových (Geena Davis a Hugh Laurie), přibude v druhém díle nová postava ptáčka Margola (v originále mu pravděpodobně propůjčí hlas Melanie Griffith).
