Jak z názvu patrno, středobodem tohoto animovaného snímku je banán. Toto ovoce se náhle objeví v malé továrně, jejíž zaměstnanci jsou po ovoci jako diví. Proto se rozjíždí třeskutá naháněcí akce, protože banán chce ochutnat každý.

Opět je tu Herbie, „auto se svojí vlastní hlavou“, které tentokrát přijíždí do Monte Carla na velké závody. Jenže naneštěstí si právě jeho vyberou zloději jako vhodný úkryt pro svůj lup a ukryjí do Herbieho nádrže kradené diamanty, které teď chtějí získat zpět.
