Mladá tanečnice Emily přijíždí do Miami s velkým snem tančit na profesionální úrovni. Na jedné plážové party se seznámí se Seanem a protančí s ním celou noc. Sean vede kontroverzní pouliční taneční hnutí MOB, které se drze dere vpřed a tančí na nejrušnějších místech ve městě a také v netradičních prostorách jako jsou muzeum nebo banka. Občas si vyberou rušnou křižovatku. Prostě to rozbalí všude, kde vzbudí pořádný rozruch. Tancem provokují běžné kolemjdoucí a strhávají na sebe i pozornost médií. Jejich hlavním cílem, je způsobit co největší šok a být pořádně vidět i slyšet. Sean Emily postupně učaruje a rozhodne se do jeho tanečního projektu zapojit. Postupně se stane jeho hlavní tanečnicí. Brzy mají první neohlášené vystoupení, které opět zvedne ze židlí řadu kritiků i fanoušků.

Gordon Bombay se rozhodl opět hrát aktivně hokej, je však zraněn. Pak dostává nabídku, aby dal opět dohromady mužstvo Kačerů, doplnil ho nejlepšími hráči země a vybudoval národní tým juniorů USA. S nimi se má zúčastnit Her dobré vůle juniorů v Los Angeles. Takovému lákadlu samozřejmě neodolá, sestaví družstvo a odjíždí do místa konání her. Tam však podlehne atmosféře velké sportovní události - účastní se tiskovek, dává interview v televizi - a málo se věnuje svému týmu. To má za následek, že se mladí hokejisté chovají "jako utržení ze řetězu", a co je ještě horší, přestávají opět podávat solidní výkony. Gordon zklame až tak dalece, že se nedostaví na rozhodující zápas a Kačerům hrozí vyřazení ze soutěže. Zachrání je jejich učitelka, která sice neví o hokeji zhola nic, ale je v potřebnou dobu tam, kde má být. Gordon Bombay "jde do sebe" a za pět minut dvanáct přichází na stadion...
