The female protagonist Hasret - on the other hand - was born and raised in one of Istanbul's most impoverished neighborhoods. She is a free spirited young woman with a 'foul' mouth. Hasret makes her living by selling flowers and occasionally singing in a band. Murat hears potential in her untrained voice and takes it upon himself to teach her the secrets of music by giving her a classical training.

Jak se ale již brzy ukáže, onou dívkou není nikdo jiný, než Nakano Itsuki – kráska, která právě přestoupila na jeho školu, dokonce i byla přiřazena do jeho třídy, a se kterou měl menší konflikt hned při jejich prvním setkání ve školní jídelně. Tohle nebude snadné. Tím spíš, že se dívka prakticky ihned začlenila do dívčího kolektivu, zatímco on zastává pozici absolutního samotáře. Nebo to je trošku jinak? Unlike 1980's Hammer House of Horror, all the episodes had American actors as either the leads or in key roles. It was first aired in the UK by ITV in 1984, though was not simulcast and was shown in different timeslots throughout the various ITV regions.
