In the future — in a world mostly submerged under water — the 19-year-old Sumeragi Aika goes to college while training as an agent by assisting in Aida Gozo's salvaging business.

Seriál vypráví o třináctiletém chlapci, Jadenovi Yukimu, kterému se plní sen a vstupuje do Duel Academy (Akademie Duelu), kde se bojuje s kartami Yu-Gi-Oh!, které při hře 'ožívají'. Přes všechny jeho dobrodružství se potkává s přáteli Syrusem, Chumleyem, Alexis, Zanem, Bastionem a dalšími, ale jsou zde také lidé, kteří Jadena nebou mít moc rádi, jako např. Dr. Vellian Crowler, který ve škole zastupuje rektora. V dalších epizodách seriálu přichází další nepřátelé, např. Shadow Riders (jezdci stínu), kteří se snaží zničit svět.

Když v jedné malé japonské vísce začala v pravidelných intervalech umírat za podivných okolností zvěř, povolala místní majitelka hostince detektiva Inugamiho z Tokia, který se specializuje na paranormální jevy. Detektiv se během vyšetřování spřátelí s jedním z místních chlapců, který každý den místo školy pracuje na zdejších polích. Tento mladík není ve vesnici příliš oblíbený, jeho vrstevníci se mu posmívají a starší ho přehlíží. Přesto je to právě on, kdo dokáže detektivovi pomoci s tímto nadpřirozeným případem, během kterého se však ukáže, že vyšetřovatel, ale ani chlapec vlastně nejsou tak úplně lidmi. Každopádně detektiv Inugami během tohoto výletu získal novou posilu do své malé detektivní agentury a také jeden nový případ – zkusit vypátrat chlapcovi rodiče. (Jeoffrey)

Oh Yeah! Cartoons was an American animation showcase that appeared on the Nickelodeon cable channel. Oh Yeah! was an animation project guided by Fred Seibert, former Creative Director of MTV Networks and President of Hanna-Barbera. Produced by Frederator Studios, it ran as part of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons lineup, and in its second season, was hosted by Kenan Thompson of All That and Kenan & Kel fame; Then later by Josh Server, from All That, for its third season. Cartoons remains TV's biggest animation development program ever.
